The INCTE and the NIWP are joining forces with the University of Idaho's College of Education to sponsor a Fall Literacy Conference on Friday, October 3, 2008, on the UI campus.

Dr. Judy Mitchell, dean of the College of Education at Washington State University is our keynote speaker for this year. She will be speaking on "Multiple Literacies as Metaphors for Learning." In addition to our regular sessions, we are offering workshops in several different strands including research, early childhood, and special education. Participants will be able to choose between workshop formats ranging from handouts and hands-on, research reports, forums, and Book Talks.
